How much should you budget for ads?
This is the question the fee page cannot answer for you, because it depends entirely on what a customer is worth and what clicks cost in your market. But some honest general guidance:
We suggest a minimum of $1,500 a month in ad spend, held for ninety days. Below that, in most U.S. metros, there is simply not enough data arriving for the account to be optimised rather than guessed at — and you will spend more in management fees than the channel can return.
In expensive categories — legal, roofing, solar, water damage — the realistic floor is higher, often $3,000 to $5,000, because a handful of clicks can consume a day’s budget. We will tell you in the audit if your intended budget is not enough to compete in your specific market, and we would rather say so than take a fee for running a campaign that cannot work.
For context, industry benchmark reporting commonly puts the average cost per click across all industries in the region of five dollars and the average cost per lead around seventy, but those averages hide enormous variation. Your own numbers, once thirty or forty conversions have accumulated, are the only ones worth planning against.
Questions about pricing
Why publish prices at all?
Because “contact us for a quote” wastes everybody’s time and exists mainly so the agency can work out what you can afford. Our fees do not change based on how prosperous your website looks.
Is there a setup fee?
For management, no. The build work in month one is included in the first month’s fee. Landing pages and websites are quoted separately as one-off projects because they are one-off projects.
What happens if I want to leave?
Give us thirty days’ notice, in writing, by any channel. We hand back the account — which was always yours — remove our access, and send you a short document explaining the current structure so whoever takes over is not starting cold. No exit fee and no data held back.
Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?
Above $10,000 a month in spend, yes — 10% of the amount over that threshold. Below it, the flat fee covers everything. We are upfront that percentage pricing creates an incentive to recommend higher budgets, which is exactly why the flat fee covers the range most of our clients sit in.
Can I pay for just the build and run it myself?
Yes. A one-off build and handover is possible, priced at roughly two months of management. We will be honest that accounts left unattended after a build tend to decay within a couple of months, because the weekly search-term work is where a lot of the value lives.
